Lithuanian Trade Union of
Commercial and Co-operative Employees is an independent non-governmental
organisation carrying on the policy of free trade unions and uniting trade
union organisations, unifications and associations. It was founded on the
27th of February 1990. In 1992 it was registered at the Ministry of
Justice. Our trade union unites more than one hundred trade union organisations
and has about 6000 members. LTUCC is a member of Lithuanian Trade Union
Unification. Lithuanian Trade Union of Commercial and Co-operative Employees unites
people employed in the co-operative, commercial, service, security and
banking sectors. The main aim of LTUCCE is to protect the rights of its members and their
economical, social and professional interests in relations with employers,
governmental and governing institutions. The Lithuanian Trade Union of Commercial and Co-operative Employees
exists according to the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the
conventions of International Labour Organisation.
Our main activities 1. Recruitment of new members. 2. Collective agreements and agreements on co-operation. 3. Education of members. 4. Establishment of new trade union organisations. 5. Participation in the trade union movement both nationally and
